Infected
Derrik Angle: One of the first to be infected, Derrik's story goes on for awhile before he became sick with X34. Mental illness and extreme lack of attention made him out to be the cold hearted killer he is today. Having been used to killing for food, the new project of zombies is minor. As for his true past with catching the virus, he simply was in the wrong area at the wrong time. As soon as the locators on the virus went off, Derrik was standing smash in the middle of the building. People ran by the star struck male as the gases engulfed him, the pressure made his eyes bleed and his ears pool with more of this blood. Scientists rushed in to find him, and honestly they expected just a pool of skin. However, they found the living creature and then... the white room. His eyes and ears were removed. Sockets were sewn up and his ears replaced with metal spheres. Months passed, the facility shut down, and the other's undone him. Thus when he received his signature paper bag.
Mallory Mirror: One Of the only female infected to find light. This light burned her body into a almost raccoon like shape, making more-so of a monster. Before she was changed into a living nightmare, Mallory was a simple Jane, Jane Lawrence to be exact, living the teenage dream and loving every second of it, though she always seemed to love hanging around the old science hall. It was 'hip' to hang around the building, so the princess of popularity buried herself in the middle. Not touching the skin of the jocks, jerks, nerds, or even the loners. It was all about the squads, labels mattered nothing as long as she wasn't one of them. Her infectious story is odd in a way. Innocent walks home turned into a bitten reminder of why you shouldn't play after dark. A seemingly sick man simply coughed, this got it started. As soon as she inhaled, her body froze. Sending her into convulsions and throwing her smack in the center of Block Twelve.
Nexus Hem: Like any oddity, Nexus started out as an average, yet interesting child. Give him something electronic, he could tear it down and rebuild it within moments of being handed. It was like a dream come true to his computer engineer family. Unusually, Nexus was only 12 when the infection broke out. It's hardened down insults on the human race got him worried about his now sick sister. She was awkwardly quiet and went cannibalistic at the smell or sight of broken skin. He pushed this off like any kid would... but that's when his parents got sick. Being the older brother, he tried to fight back for his new born sister's life.. this went unsuccessful. The child was killed, and Nexus was ravaged. Luckily, the survivors killed the family and shipped Nexus straight to the hosting home. Once at Block Twelve, they condemned him to one of the top floors, and cut his views of the world, this gradually caused his blindness.

Eden Banks: Straight from the rolling hills of North Alabama, and a Southern accent worth gold; Eden came to the North to see the statue of liberty. Barely pushing 17, he seemed to be the prime suspect ton catch the infection. But for some reason, his body was immune to it. Luckily, he got out of Block Ten before it went up in flames, sending him spiraling into Block Twelve from the Eleven's overload of victims. The bright green eyed male was searching for one person, and ran smack into the hardware store. With a loaded MK47 on his back, and a bat on hand, he began making out base. This base was a simple lean-to in the undergo of a small unfinished bridge area. Screams of death and pain rang underneath it, but that's when he met up with that dreadful list of names of those withing Block Twelve's hospital like area. There.. he saw WHOM he was looking for. Derrik. A childhood friend, now the very monster he was set on destroying.
Max Harden: This western born lad has little story to go along with the other's. Things were meant to be simple. Move out, get a car, get a job, and start up a life worth living. He moved to Block Eleven, and began working as a part time hair stylist. Specializing in cuts and curls, but could shoot someone between the eyes from a miles distance. He knew snipers, he breathed snipers, and when the infection was released as critical, he stocked up for two years worth of ammo. This lasted shortly before he fled to the dreaded B.12. This is where his challenge came up, everything was apoctolyptic. He met a few half living creatures, and even killed off a few infected. Either way, he was done for the count until he found Eden and Nikki, quickly shooting up friendships and firing up his sniper. He had a name, a face, and a goal. There were monsters running a muck and he was to wipe away their existence. In most terms, he'd found his family, and his calling.
Nikki Angle: Nikita, or Nikki, was a normal teenager that grew up chasing her older brother and a big yellow dog. Derrik was everything to Nikki growing up, they were not only best friends, but partners in many soapbox races. This was short lasting when the male moved up-state and left her home with only Buster and a picture of their now deceased parents. Once the infection broke out, she ran. Hitching rides, swimming, hiding, anything to get her where Block Twelve was. Now once she was there... death lined the streets and possessed every building. Finally, she knew she was done for. And that moment of hopeless demeanor is what made her see the yellow clad body of Eden smoking from utop the old bridge. Like a madman, she wandered to him, asking about her brother.. and after hearing the situation. She wanted to put the one she adored out of his 'misery' as she so called it. Her drive is/was simple.
Other
Sarah Black: Fat,rich, gorgeous and everything she could ask for in herself.. Sarah had to be one of the fanciest fat ladies in town. The diamonds proved themselves time and time again as she strolled through town. And of all the things to rub her the wrong way, zombies were one of them. She too, was immune, but like most hefty women... running wasn't an option. Sarah, or Sar, highly believed these monsters to be sent for her fortune, thus why she locked herself in the mansion. Being of African American descent, she was a strong woman... but seemed to have a weakness for opening the door. Thus the reason her home was more than once ransacked by 'Those pesky rodents' as she called the Survivors. Sarah was obsessed with shiny objects, which also attracted the attention of onward moving zombies. Making her home a hotspot for undead activity, and Survivor rummages.
Mitchell Harris: Just another dumbfuck soccer fan that just so happened to be immune to the hazardous infection rummaging outside his front door. The old butcher man was as cold as stone and had no sympathy for the weak minded. He was tall, loud, bald and proud. Nothing was gon' get him down... until the zombies were at his front door. Though, he didn't give two cents until he noticed the blonde next door was no longer a fantasy but a weedy haired, boney bitch that was lingering around the alley with blood dripping mouth. Managing to get to his butchery shop, that's where he met Nikki, Eden, and Max, and after explaining his reasons for not wanting to help, they gave him a mission. They killed it, he cut it up. Disemboweled zombies were as good as headless zombies. They were permanently down, unlike some of those lucky enough to survive a headshot. The police were immortilized by the infection, making the fact his shop was smack in the center of B.12, a whole hell'of'a target.
Greg Morales: A long brown-haired Vietnam vet suffering from PTSD, causing him to be constantly paranoid for the past 30-something years (It also brought about his divorce 5 years ago.). As a result, he always had a stockpile of guns and ammo in his basement, plenty to mow down any Contaminated (Or lurches, as he calls them.) for hours on end, but would much rather only kill when needed. Despite his hatred of combat, he may go into fits of rage at even the slightest provocation, in which he will probably attack anything that moves (Normally, he wouldn't hurt a fly, but after the outbreak, he soon ran out of his medication.). Greg rarely leaves his basement, only leaving to find food or is going through one of his fits. He won't kill anyone unless it is totally necessary, but will usually be wary of those around him.
